  • Hooks remain secured in protective covers unless handled by instructors
  • Baiting and unhooking handled by instructors
  • Designated casting line. All campers stand behind the line while casting is in progress
  • Casting practice with weights before real hooks
  • Children must demonstrate safe casting before using hooks
  • One child casts at a time
  • Groups split for supervision

  • No unsupervised access to water
  • Staff handle ALL fish unhooking
  • Constant visual supervision

and enjoy the outdoors responsibly.

Health & Medical

  • Parents must disclose allergies, asthma, or medical conditions
  • Required medical devices such as inhalers or EpiPens must be provided
  • Instructors certified in CPR and first aid
  • First aid kits on site

General Safety

  • Structured supervision during games
  • Scheduled water breaks
  • Weather monitoring
  • Immediate communication with parents if concerns arise
